In our Paulaner brewery restaurant we tried to reproduce the original atmosphere of old Munich. It is reflected mostly in everything: in each given dish, in each detail of interior. For example we used the Alpine pine that is more than 250 years old for decorating of restaurant walls.
We suggest our guests not only taking pleasure from taste of authentic beer made according to old traditions but also trying the classical Bavarian dishes prepared from the freshest local products according to original Chef recipes. By the way, the Chef of our restaurant arrived from Austria too.
But the center of Paulaner’s gravity nevertheless is our brewery located in the heart of restaurant. It is a special pleasure to enjoy a mug of fresh beer, watching how it is brewing and feeling the smell of hop and malt.
We brew two types of beer: Weizen Bier, Lager Bier and one more seasonal bear - for holidays, especially on Oktoberfest. We use the purest deep-well water, the qualitative hop, the malt from the best barley of Bavaria agricultural regions and yeast. According to the German Beer Purity Law, we don't use any preservatives and dyes or other similar additives.
We brew unfiltered beer only. The filtration "kills" the taste of beer. It is the same like taking away the sweet taste from chocolate. Besides in Paulaner beer there is no CO2 that gives the bubbles. And it means there will be no headache next day.
In Germany and all over the world the Paulaner brand is a synonym of quality and magnificent beer taste.
